Allen Satterwhite

Allen Satterwhite is the President of EnergyX, with shared responsibility for the overall vision and mission of EnergyX, as well as for the development and execution of corporate strategy, technology commercialization, and business growth.

Prior to joining EnergyX, Allen most recently served as the President of Chevron Pipeline & Power and as a member of the CEO’s Global Leadership Forum.  His enterprise leadership responsibilities also included several internal governance committees, while also serving externally as the Chevron executive representative on the American Petroleum Institute’s Midstream Committee.

Allen’s leadership experience spans three decades and includes international assignments within Upstream oil & gas operations, Midstream pipeline & power operations, commodities marketing & trading, and various central and corporate functions.  Prior to his role as President of Chevron Pipeline & Power, Allen held progressive leadership positions including Sr. VP Asset Development, VP Heavy Oil Development, and VP Finance, Strategy & Planning Chevron Natural Gas.

Allen is a proven energy industry leader in shaping strategy, driving business transformation, activating & scaling technology, and growing businesses to deliver high impact results.

Allen received his B.S. and M.S. Petroleum Engineering Degrees from Louisiana State University and his MBA from Tulane University.

Fun Fact: Allen is originally from Baton Rouge, Louisiana and has carried the LSU “Geaux Tigers” chant across the globe during his international assignments.  While living in Bangkok, Thailand Allen met and became friends with a fellow Louisiana native who was living there and owned a local restaurant named “Bourbon Street” (and yes, the food was great, and the restaurant is still there!).
