Samuel Dahlhauser
Sam received his Ph.D in Organic Chemistry from the University of Texas at Austin, where he worked under Professor Eric Anslyn on the synthesis and sequencing of abiotic sequence-defined polyurethanes, dynamic covalent chemistries, supramolecular chemistry and molecular recognition. After graduating, Sam went on to do a postdoctoral fellowship at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory developing synthetic strategies to produce renewable and recyclable materials for a circular economy, with a specific focus on thermal energy storage for temperature control in buildings and vehicles. At EnergyX, Sam is a Senior Research Chemist and project lead on our transformative direct lithium extraction technologies. Sustainability and climate change innovation is the passion of both Sam and EnergyX!
