Battery Grade
Lithium Dihydrogen Phosphate
Lithium dihydrogen phosphate is an emerging high-value lithium and phosphate raw material for production of lithium iron phosphate (LFP) and lithium manganese iron phosphate (LMFP) cathodes. These battery chemistries are experiencing a continued resurgence. It already contains lithium and phosphate in the exact proportion and enables cathode active material synthesis routes that yield higher quality cathodes with improved thermal stability, safety, particle morphology, volumetric density and manufacturing consistency for high-performance battery applications. By producing high-purity LiH₂PO₄ directly from lithium-bearing feedstreams using an integrated extraction and conversion process, EnergyX eliminates multiple conventional processing steps while reducing chemical waste and operating costs. This direct-from-brine approach enables a scalable, lower-cost and lower-impact supply pathway for the rapidly growing LFP and LMFP battery markets.
