Paul Leggett
Paul Leggett is an experienced venture capitalist with over 20 years devoted to top-tier venture capital and finance firms. Paul focuses on investments in groundbreaking startups transforming industries such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, robotics, biotechnology, energy transition, aerospace & defense (including space activities) and vertical SaaS applications.
Prior to his role as a venture investor, Paul helped grow Morgan Stanley’s sustainable technologies and clean energy investment banking team. Prior to that role, Paul spent four years in Morgan Stanley’s Global Mergers & Acquisition group. He was a member of the founding group for the Partnership for Renewable Energy Finance, a contributing member of the American Council on Renewable Energy and a Term Member of the Council on Foreign Relations. Paul received two Secretary of Energy Appointments to the United States Department of Energy Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Technical Advisory Committee.
He is a member of the Leadership Council for the Oak Ridge National Laboratory Innovation Crossroads program and an Ambassador for the Navy Seal Foundation. Paul received his MBA from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business where he was a member of the Raven Society and received the Faculty Award for Academic Excellence. Paul also graduated cum laude from Tulane University where he was awarded the Charles H. Murphy prize in Political Economy.
